The review is actually from Engadget Spanish, but here’s a snippet of what its all about. It seems like every week there are at least 3 of these types of extender devices released, which is great for the consumer as that should keep driving the prices down. The player, which supports a HD video playback in a multitude of codecs, including MPEG1/2/4, H.264, VC-1, and RM/RMVB in a multitude of packages including .mp4, .mov, .avi, .divx, and .mkv (and that’s not an exhaustive list by any means). There is still no word on pricing or release date in the US, but the one Engadget Spanish laid hands on seemed to be for sale in Taiwan for around €119, or about $169.
