Vizio Adds Sub $2K 47W” 1,080p LCD TV

Vizio, quickly becoming well known for value oriented LCD TVs, is set to release a 47" 1080p LCD for less then $2000 dollars. This of course will drag down prices on the 1080p premium LCDs, making it a win win for everyone.

Set cosmetics feature a translucent black and silver cabinet, and touch-sensitive control keys. Brightness is listed as 500 cd/m(2) and the contrast ratio is said to be 800:1 native and 1,600:1 dynamic. The response time is 8ms.
