PPC presents Locking HDMI Cable

I really don’t understand how HDMI cables have existed this long without having any sort of locking mechanism, which is on the only reason I’m posting this press release. It’s just so easy for cables to come loose…but what do I know, since even the new display port also isn’t locking by design. Bring me back my good ol VGA which screws in!

In keeping with its deserved reputation for innovation, PPC will highlight its unique Locking HDMI Cable, a patented locking device that grips a port with three times the strength of conventional connectors, enabling average port retention of 12 pounds. This exclusive cable not only delivers top quality HDTV video (up to 1080p) and audio (Dolby(R) Digital DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD), but also provides unsurpassed reliability. Additionally, the cable features the distinctive strength and flexibility afforded by PPC’s Perfect Flex(TM) jacket, and can be installed easily without tools.
