Poof! Hiding That Big-Screen TV

I keep changing my mind on how much I like the idea of hidden televisions that pop up. Last year we saw the one that came up from under your bed, which was cool, and here’s a more traditional install with the TV in the cabinet that slides up. Still not sure, but for this room it actually looks ok. 

 

Electronic House

The pop-up in this case comes from an Inca custom plasma TV lift that allows the 42-inch set to hide in a cabinet until summoned for viewing. Then it rises mechanically. To make it possible, ACT worked closely with general contractor Mike Handrahan Remodeling and cabinetmaker Roomscapes.
