August 25th Blu-ray Releases

From the writer of Superbad comes Adventureland, which is actually based on his real life events…I’m sure with just some minor modifications for your enjoyment, of course. This movie was pretty entertaining, although be prepared that it is pretty equal in dramatic portions as the comedic bits. It’s about a young man who is working at a Carnival to save up money for school, where he ends up making new friends and of course finding time for some romance and heartbreaks. It definitely has some laughs and kept me entertained (mostly thanks to Bill Hader who steals the show as the boss).
