Lenovo IdeaCentre D400 Now Pre-Ordering – Full Specs Confirmed

Not really that surprising considering it had already seen the light of day in Japan, but Lenovo really is rapidly getting into the home media space. With the announcement of their SFF client and now a sexy home server, they are bringing competitive products to the market.

The specs belie the fact that the D400 is very similar to Acer’s Aspire easyStore Home Server – certainly coming out of the same Original Device Manufacturer (Wistron) – the hardware is slightly remodelled and add-in complement tweaked. Given the Acer provides a higher spec at a better price, the D400 looks expensive at launch, but we’ll have to wait to see what discounts are available when the product finally hits retail.
