Nice price point on a small client device here from Mvix, but I’d be concerned about the power sacrifices you’re making by not going ION here as the AMD Dualcore CPU is almost certainly going to draw more watts than a comparable Atom chip. But it’s small enough. Full specs through the link.

Unlike the current crop of Intel Atom + NVIDIA ION products grabbing the headlines, Mvix Mnix leverages AMD’s Dual Core 3250e processor and ATI 3200HD graphics (full 1080p decoding & DirectX 10 ready) built on ATI’s Avivo platform. Mvix Mnix offers Gigabit Ethernet (optional 802.11n USB adapter available), HDMI / DVI / VGA video out, 2GB of RAM (up to 4GB), 160GB 2.5-inch SATA HDD, and a bunch of other goodies. Retail price for the base unit is $399 and is targeted to Digital Home enthusiats who want to build an energy efficient, mini HTPC running Windows Media Center, SageTV, Beyond TV, MythTV, Boxee, XBMC, and the like.
