‘The Matrix’ Trilogy Comes to HD DVD

THe Matrix Trilogy coming to HD DVD has to be one of the biggest announcements yet for the HD DVD team. On May 22nd, two box set collections of the Matrix trilogy will be hitting stores. However, it won't be an exclusive, Warner plans on releasing a Blu-ray version once the specs for BD Live are finalized. Expect to pay around $100 dollars for the set.

'The Ultimate Matrix Collection' will replicate the extensive standard-def box set of the same name which debuted two years ago. In addition to the three IME-enhanced 'Matrix' titles and 'The Matrix Revisited,' an additional 35 hours of bonus materials will be included.
