Sony to Deliver Digital Copy Direct from Blu-ray Disc

I’m not sure many people here use a PSP, but I do think it’s a good sign that they’re at least thinking these thoughts. Especially considering they used to sell movies JUST for the PSP, which was pretty ridiculous. Still doesn’t solve you digital copy fans, but hopefully that’s around the corner.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Sept. 28 said going forward it would incorporate directly on a Blu-ray Disc the digital copy of a new-release movie playable on the PlayStation Portable (PSP). The digital file can be transferred from the disc to a PSP using the Blu-ray drive in a PlayStation 3. The PSP digital copy cannot be played on a PC or or other portable media device.
