October 20th Blu-ray Releases

Not a huge list, but definitely one of the big blockbusters from the summer is already coming to Blu-ray. Btw, if you’re looking for an interesting bloody movie, check out Blood: The Last Vampire, which I found very entertaining–the premise is a girl who is actually really, really old, is a vampire hunter, and goes undercover to hunt them down. Some pretty cool action scenes and lots of swords. But now, without further delay…

MissingRemote’s Pick of the Week

Whether you are a fan of the series or not, you cannot argue with the amazing special effects and the focus on big noise and big explosions. This movie was MADE for Blu-ray and sure seems to have lots of extras. I’m sure there will be follow up dual-disc sets with even more extras coming up, but for right now THIS is the movie to get to showoff that fantastic home theater you care so much for.
