Nothing too “Lite” about new $299 TiVo Series 3 unit

The S3L will sport nearly everything that the regular Series 3 has, and it even some improvements. First, the basic "what can it do" stuff: it will support recording two shows at once from a mix of inputs (HD, OTA HD, analog ATSC/NTSC/QAM, etc.), display up to 1080P resolution, and it will support two (single-channel) CableCards (still no word on so-called MCard support).
