November 3rd Blu-ray Releases

A couple really good releases this week, most notably "The Taking of Pelham 123" with Denzel Washington, and of course the all-time classic comedy National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. But the movie that was ridiculous for its over the top is going to regrettably be my pick of the week, strictly because I doubt there’s another movie this week that will show off your home theater any better.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (Two-Disc Edition + Digital Copy) If you grew up in the 80s no doubt you were a huge fan of the GI Joe cartoon series and action figures. Well, here to crush all those wonderful childhood memories is the feature film, featuring one of the bloody Wayans brothers and the dude from the Step Up and Fighting movies, Channing Tatum. Ok, so just know what you’re watching before you get into it and you’ll be ok. The action scenes are pretty crazy and I must admit it was a bit fun to see Snake Eyes battle with everyone.
