Black Friday is Around The Corner

Slow news day, so I figured this was as good a time as any to remind folks if you are planning on making a purchase you *may* want to wait until Black Friday (the day following Thanksgiving) for some special deals. Last year we saw a lot of online vendors competing with B&M (Brick and Mortar) so hopefully that trend continues and nobody gets trampled on at Wal-Mart.

The entry-level ($99.99 SRP) Toshiba player (no Internet connection) is heretofore the lowest-priced non-refurbished unit on the market, and is $18 below the previous least-expensive BD player from Magnavox and sold by Walmart.

Minneapolis-based Best Buy is also selling the wireless Internet-connected Sony BDPS370 Blu-ray player for $99.99.
