No Ordinary Family Gets Full Season From ABC
While we’ve only watched 2 episodes so far, what we saw was quite enjoyable. I still say that the downfall for the show will be if they stop focusing on the family aspect. They need to steer clear of allowing too many similarities to be drawn between Smallville, Heroes, and X-men.
While (producer John Harmon) Feldman wasn’t willing to go into details (for the rest of the season), he was happy to talk about what’s ahead in the near future for No Ordinary Family, including the continuation of supervillains who Jim Powell (Chiklis) will run into on an ongoing basis. We’ll see one of those villains in tonight’s episode, "No Ordinary Earthquake," as she shakes it up big time for Jim, his wife Stephanie (Julie Benz) and their teen children Daphne (Kay Panabaker) and J.J. (Jimmy Bennett).
