Driver Heaven review of the Gigabyte GA-G33M-S2H

I had High hopes for this review seeing as I have the AMD version of this board. But it comes with Intel Integrated graphics and of course they have no idea on how to review an HTPC designed board. Not one test on video quality or performance with 1080P content.

But with Intel integrated graphics and no hardware acceleration I guess we can assume poor performance with a low TDP processor.

All in all, the G33M-S2H is an excellent motherboard when it is used in a HTPC environment. The integrated graphics card does it job admirably when handling desktop work or when watching videos (though there is no video acceleration present – you have to rely on the CPU in these situations). Perhaps the greatest asset the board has is the HDMI port, which will stream 7.1 audio as well as a HD signal over a single cable right into that big HDTV sitting in the middle of the living room.  For that, the G33M is an excellent choice!
