Toshiba debuts ultra-portable front projector

Have you  ever wanted to take your home theater on the road with you? Perhaps you find hotel TV's not worthy? Well Toshiba has a solution for you. They recently introduced a 800X600 projector that you can hold in the palm of your hand. It even has a cute 23" screen that you can use.

From the article:

Weighing just over a pound, the TDP-FF1AU DLP projector is designed to be about
as portable as a projector can be, coming with its own carrying case and a
23-inch (diagonal) fold-out screen for when your walls aren't
projector-friendly. Checking out the small fry at Digtial Life this weekend, I
found the brightness and color to be decent, especially once I remembered I was
looking at the image in a bright trade-show floor. Native resolution is 800 x
600 pixels — good enough for DVDs and almost anything you download (it has a USB
input). There's also a built-in mono speaker if you're desperate for sound. And
since the ultra-portable projector runs off a battery (2 hours), a whole world
of on-the-go viewing opens up — just connect your iPod and you can hijack the
back of that bus seat to watch
CSI. It's not as small as the Nano-Projector,
but it has the advantage of being real. Seven hundred bucks of real to be exact.
