Media Portal 1.0.1/2 Released – Improved TV & Lots of Other Stuff
Media Portal has released two updates in the past two weeks. The first release this month, 1.0.1 added some significant new capability. 1.0.2 came out a week later to address a couple major bugs found in 1.0.1.
- Support for analog tuners is much improved.
- Speed improvements for the guide.
- Overall speed improvements and improved image loading.
- Better error handling – it actually gives you some information and won’t crash windows
- Increased configuration options
- Integrated refresh rate changer (cool idea)
- Integrated smart stretching of video 4:3->16:9 (for those that don’t find this balsphemous)
