Free PVR software users will have to pay for program guides

Here’s the aftermath from the Zap2It announcement, which took away the free service of EPG guide data. TV Squad has a good assumption that because new companies are stepping up to offer the service, it won’t be at a cost of Free, which is dissapointing for the MythTV or MediaPortal users. If I had to guess tho, I have a gut feeling they’ll find a way. Time will tell.
