ASUS Xonar D2 & D2X Details

Hardocp has the scoop on the latest sound card from ASUS. While the specs look impressive, with no mention of HD video CODECS it kinda leaves me feeling a touch flat.

The folks at ASUS sent along a press kit for the Xonar D2 and D2X sound card. The D2 and D2X look rather impressive with features such as Ultra Fidelity at 192K/24bit with SNR118dB on ALL 7.1 channels, Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby digital, Dolby Digital Live and Dolby head phone. The Xonar will be available in PCI (D2) and PCI-Express (D2X) with a MSRP of $199.
