Ditto. I have 3 and only one is used regularly by my son for gaming.

I just went to Big Screen Global and other than the channel logos, which I believe that program is free and available on the web somewhere I couldn’t tell a difference between their EPG and the MS EPG.

    Logo software is here.http://lifehacker.com/5472914/my-channel-logos-adds-network-logos-to-windows-7-media-center

I really liked Red. John Malkovich was great. I should have mentioned in the subject that “The Losers” is streaming. But as far as what is out in the theater right now I would suggest Red and if you have kids I would go see Megamind.

Green when on, blinking white when in sleep and off when the PC is off. And none of these should be bright and I think it should have the ability to be disabled.

Per household I can understand, not individually.

With 2 CETON tuners, 5 petabyte servers, and a dozen clients you only record a few hours of TV a week?
    [/quote]

I record a lot more than a few hours but mostly for my wife and kids.

I honestly rarely use the HTPC.  I know I am a geek but I would rather spend a few hours writing code or tinkering with hardware than watching TV or a movie.

I wish I had your motivation to write code. I was briefly interested in writing for Android prior to getting my phone and then every idea I had was already done.

Then last week I installed everything to write code with lightswitch but there are so many bugs in using it I am going to wait until a RC comes out.

That seems absurdly high.  I think I watch a lot of TV at the moment and I’m at maybe an hour on the weekdays and 2 hours on the weekends.

I’m guessing that is per household. With 4 people in my house watching Chase and No Ordinary family that racked up 8 hours right there. I’m sure the kids had about 30 – 45 minutes of cartoons during breakfast so I can see 9 + hours a day easily.

I would think for most of the people on this site who spend a lot of time and money on putting our media networks together also use them.

I think it would be cool if they came across some deranged doctor studying a few zombies on his own to fill in some holes in the zombie lore.

I want to know if the Zombie are truly dead or just rewired by the virus to behave like botched lobotomies.

Because if they were truly dead and there body was not repairing cells and such, wouldn’t they decompose after a long enough time had passed. These type of questions will keep me watching with the hope they fill in some holes.

Damn you all.  Just added The Walking Dead to my Recorded TV series list.  I’m already watching too much TV as is….

Been there many times. But I found it was very easy this year to figure out which shows were easy to dump before the networks decided which ones to cancel and some others, like Castle and The Mentalist just feel like I’m watching a rerun each week and they were easy to drop.
