August 24th Blu-ray Releases

Lots more to choose from this week from last, but still not that many great ones that stand out. Obviously the Lost Complete Collection will excite many people, but that was too obvious a selection. I love LOST, but not sure I could watch every episode again. I was thoroughly bored through Dorian Gray for what it’s worth. Another great Kung-fu classic in Shogun Assasin for those fans out there.

MissingRemote’s Pick of the Week

Fans of the site and this particular weekly piece will know my inclination to go with nostalgic pieces, and that’s just waht this is. Time Bandits is a film I grew up watching and just remember being awed by all the locations and characters the film created and got you involved with. Sean Connery is brilliant in his role, and the film is just a really great all around film for all ages. Seriously, if you have never seen or heard of it please check it out…lots of fun!
