Did you definitively narrow it down to a network issue yet? If so, and you’re able, plug a computer into each switch and work your way out from there to see where the delay is. It might be as simple as a bad cable someone down the line.
Some other thoughts:
Is WHS up to date?
Any add-ins which might be interfering?
Are you using the drive pool? If so, can you move the file to the C: or D: partition and share the folder, then try streaming it from there?[quote=”Meester.Rip”]

[/quote]I don’t do that here, but I’ve been trained to do that on any site that uses a CAPTCHA system, due to numerous lost posts. I love when it happens when I’m submitting a lengthy issue to a support system and have to retype the entire scenario. >:(

Perhaps the technology has improved since that device was released, but I have a feeling that the lack of feedback is going to continue to be a detriment to any VKB.

I’ve been researching all the suggestions so far and none have really ‘grabbed’ me yet. I was really hoping for something more D&D-like, but I don’t know that any of us would make good DMs, which is what made me ask about something which didn’t require one, like Castle Ravenloft. I’ll have to go check out Arkham Horror now.

[/quote]LMAO! I can relate to that. I can be a sore loser at times, which is why I was looking for co-op play, rather than player vs. player. I used to love Risk, but only against the computer. I’m trying to stay away from RTS games, since I’ve never really cared for them overall. The whole thing with resources and trading just begs of boredom in my mind, which is why the original Warcraft games lost my interest pretty quickly. It was just the same darn thing, over and over.
Keep the ideas coming, as I’m enjoying learning about all these games!
In all my many posts, I’ve never seen that one. What browser and/or add-ons are you using? I use FF with NoScript, ABP, and CookieSafe, but all of those are turned off for MR. I also allow a permanent cookie for MR. Any chance you have yours set only to allow for session cookies or even temporary cookies on this site? I have seen those settings cause issues when trying to submit information on other sites.
So far, we watched The Gates and deleted the entire series after two episodes. Seems like 90210 with Vampires and Werewolves. We also just watched $#*! My Dad Says and thought it was pretty damn funny. I hope they can keep the humour going.
Also recorded The Defenders and Outlaw, but haven’t watched them yet. The wife decided to record Hawaii-Five-O and I agreed to give it a shot, but we haven’t watched that one yet, either.
I just ordered the APC Line-R and will have it by Saturday (free 2 day shipping via Amazon Prime is pretty cool).

If I watch that episode and don’t find it absolutely hilarious (like I do Big Bang Theory), then I can finally, safely, give up on the show, knowing for sure that it’s just not my kind of humour? 😉 You guys sure are persistent! 😛

[/quote]I knew about the prequel, but I was thinking about going back further with Crixus and Doctore, focusing on what led them to the arena in the first place. Maybe that will be covered in the prequel, but they haven’t really said anything besides the fact that it’s going to focus on the House of Batiatus.
As much as I do agree that the AV units look better, I can’t justify the added expense just to plug a single TV into a device with 12 outlets.

Damn… talk about getting flack for not liking something! Sheesh! ;D For the record, my wife also didn’t find it funny, so there are TWO people who don’t care for it! 😛 Who knows… maybe we caught the only two bad episodes. Oh well… they blew their chance then.
That usually happens when the news is submitted in a particular way. One of two things usually cause this:
1. You haven’t logged out and back in recently.
2. You didn’t submit the news via the button at the top of the column on the right-hand side of the main page*.* …which doesn’t show up if you haven’t logged out and back in recently. I don’t know why this happens, but it’s a known issue. I also temporarily lose my mod access if I don’t log out and back in every so often.
