Installing an e-Mail Server on Windows Home Server

I hear the question all the time. “Why doesn’t Windows Home Server have an e-Mail Server included?” The answer is simple: Because it ain’t easy to do. Well, let me clarify that. It’s EASY to install and run e-Mail Server software on Windows Home Server. It’s not so easy to get it to work with your ISP, connection, firewall and […]

Blockbuster Spends Last Few Dollars on Weak Ad

So Blockbuster is going down the tubes, but they at least saved enough pennies to throw one more slimeball the way of Netflix and Redbox, promoting the 28-day waiting period in a commercial. I can’t even think of a comparable company ever doing something like this, but MAN it comes off quite slimey in my opinion.

Ganesh Reviews ASRock’s Core 100HT-BD

I’m not sold on the 100HT-BD’s PC look (that power button looks really bright in the pictures), but for ~$700 it’s really hard to argue with the capability it provides.  Ganesh did an amazing job of testing ASRock’s Arrandale based HTPC – even if you’re not in the market for a off the shelf SFF box it’s well worth a […]

What you haven’t realized yet is that two of us at the Digital […]

The Phantom Lapboard

The Phantom Lapboard

When I first saw the Phantom Lapboard, created by Phantom Entertainment Inc., I was surprised to see it was advertised for Home Theater PC (HTPC) usage.  The design, while aesthetically pleasing, is anything but your typical HTPC keyboard design.  Needless to say, I was skeptical.  I have had several weeks to evaluate the Lapboard and I believe the designers were […]

Gigabyte H55N-USB3 Mini-ITX Motherboard

We’ve had great success with Intel’s H55 chipset, and I was surprised to read that this is Gigabyte’s FIRST venture into a Mini-ITX motherboard! Pretty shocking for such a huge motherboard manufacturer. GIGABYTE has grown a lot in the market lately. They mainly produce top-notch quality motherboards and GPUs, and they have even entered new areas as well. We couldn’t […]
