August 10th Blu-ray Releases
Bit of a slower week this time, but still some jewels here. Legend of Fong Sai Yuk is AWESOME if you are anything of a kung-fu fan, with a very young Jet Li showing off his stuff. Haven’t seen The Joneses yet, but as a fan of Californication it’s definitely on my to-do list. And then who can forget National Lampoon’s Vacation, a classic in its own right.

Date Night **
I should start by saying I went into this movie already loving Tina Fey and Steve Carrell, so even if I hadn’t seen this it would have been my pick. That being said, the movie honestly started out a bit slow for me. But BOY did it pick up after that and gave me some belly-aching laughs! It’s a fun ride and the chemistry between the two stars was fantastic to watch. It was a great time and a great movie for…well….a Date Night (couldn’t help myself) |
