Sling Media Replacing SlingLink With New TURBO 1 Port Model

Sling quietly released a new device of theirs. I'm sure Major League Baseball is ecstatic about that!!! Btw…anyone else see the irony in BASEBALL, of all sports, having a problem with people watching? I mean…are there even THAT many people that watch? C'mon now!

The SlingLink TURBO doesn't seem to differ much over its 4 Port brethren… other than the lack of the integrated 4 port switch. Each module looks identical to the transmitter in the 4 Port package. We couldn't get any specific specifications on speed, but given the MSRP price of $99 we'd be willing to bet it boasts the same 85 Mbps speed as the 4 Port. This also means that it will be HomePlug 1.0 compatible, so it should play nice with your existing powerline products.
