Roku’s iPhone App Updated to Stream Video to TV
Is this a result of the popularity in the Google Chromestick, or was it already on their plans? Either way, it’s nice to see some attention going to this field after so much quiet.
In an effort to further compete with the Apple TV, Roku has just updated its iOS app with a new AirPlay-like feature. Last fall, the app was updated with a new “Play on Roku” feature that let you beam music and photos to your TV, and now that feature has been further expanded upon to support videos.
