Record series show types

What does the “Live” option in “record series show types” do? I’ve done searches and can not find a description for this option.

It’s for recording live episodes. You could use it to record every live broadcast of a sporting event you like. I’m assuming News and few other type shows might fall under it too.

That was my thought, too, but since I don’t use MCE, I didn’t want to guess. I assume it’s for people who want to ensure they record the very first airing of a show. This would probably be important to some people for “reality” TV.
