i suspect that in the near future (when we have all replaced our current TVs) we will all have televisions capable of 3D and somewhere in a box or drawer we will have the glasses. every now and again there will be something we want to watch in 3D and we will drag the glasses out and watch it, then put them away for weeks/months at a time until the next situation arises.

The glasses are the “show stopper” for me.

No doubt there’ll be a stand alone tech available at some point in the future that offers both a reasonable viewing range and angle and won’t have an ultra large sales tag.

Now if only the tech existed to turn a room in your house into a holodeck  8).  Probably not in my lifetime though :(.

We’re getting closer, though.  I really would love to try this thing out!

Holey moley, that’s kewl!  Imagine playing something like Oblivion or CoD in there.

Now all we need is for the MR staff to arrange a product review…and I volunteer my time to help.

P.S. I’ll bet that even Mr. Gartenberg would get off on Virtuasphere.

          LOL!  It’s mesh, not solid.
