having a bizarre problem, which used to be intermittent but now it’s pretty much every reboot. Win7 x64 Ultimate…every time i reboot the system, my eHome Infrared Receiver does not work. I go into device manager and it has a yellow exclamation mark.

If i disable and re-enable, then it works flawless.

      Any ideas?

And it bugs out on all your USB ports?

What is in your logs? There should also be a message when you go into device manager explaining why there is a yellow exclamation, IIRC.

nope, only the IR is affected (it’s internal, not an external receiver)

i couldn’t see anything in event viewer, any idea where it might be?

I’m not sure where it would in the logs, but if you reboot and force the issue you should be able to get an error code out of the device manager itself.  (assuming it’s the same in Windows 7 as was in older builds, haven’t had the yellow ! under 7 yet.)

If you can’t figure it out, you could write a CMD file that does that for you when you login.
