EMI Sees Positive Results From DRM-free Music

From the Whodathunkit department:  EMI is apparently seeing some positive results from it’s sale of DRM-free music.  I really hope this is a sign of things to come.  I’m curious how ticked off iTunes users are about having to pay "upgrade" all their music in order to get it in DRM-free format?  Just the thought of having to do that too all my music would drive me insane… hence why I’m not an iTunes user.

Berkowitz said the early results from iTunes indicate that DRM-free offerings may boost revenue from digital albums as well as individual songs. She said that sales of Pink Floyd’s classic rock album Dark Side of the Moon had risen since the DRM-free digital versions became legally available.
