The Acer looks like a really slick system… For running it as a HTPC that you are looking for it would work just fine..

I worked for Hitachi GST, and I have to say that the problem wasn’t Hitachi, it was IBM. IBM quickly sold the hard drive business and Hitachi was plagued with that problem for a very long time.. Hitachi quickly changed the business model IBM was running on..

Others have problems just like Hitachi did, just the name stuck more with the “DeathStar” name people called it..

You probably have no reason to use IPv6 right now. It is there for the one day you might.

I have noticed some of those older routers with the modified OS on them have given me issues with IPv6.

If you are looking for speed in a 2TB, this is not the place to look for it…this is a slow drive..Just a FYI

My SSD arrived! Newegg has to be one of the fastest shipping retailers ever.

It’s funny if you read down the comments and not at the times. It looks like you ordered and then it was instantly there..Like it was Newegg.com teleportation delivery. I had to do a double take and look at the times. But one day is still pretty good. You must live close to one of the distribution centers.

I have a large HTPC with lots of storage and xbox as an extender and I don’t think I would have it any other way.

I have another computer with lots of space I can use too, if it gets to full..just map drives on the main HTPC running the extenders and it all looks like one giant hard drive to the extenders.

The new xbox’s are very quiet I now have two of them and there is a dramatic difference.

I am currently doing that with one machine running the media center and xbox360’s hooked to that machine. I have other machines doing recordings but everything talks to that one machine for the location. I can start in one spot stop and continue in another room. Someone should figure out how to make an externer from another PC. That would be ideal.
