I just bought the Logitech Harmony 880 and want to control volume up and volume down on my receiver using learned commands emitted from the MCE emitter/blasters on my mce receiver. I send pc audio out via spdif.
My problem is that I can do this easily using the mce remote and the mce keyboard. I just teach them the receiver’s IR commands for volume up and down. Bam, it works perfectly. I can’t, however, get the harmony 880 to learn the proper code that triggers the mce emitter. The mce pc and my receiver are in my closet and out of line-of-sight. How can I make the emitter always send out commands for volume up and down when using the 880.
Is this possible?
