      Hey guys,

      Does anyone have experience with software that can diagnose and attempt to repair bad sectors and such on a hard disk (other than scandisk)? Something that I could run off a bootable CD? My OS drive seems to be crashing, but if I could get in there for just a few minutes of work it would make the future hard disk replacement a lot easier. Thanks!

        I remember that from my DOS days.  It worked.
