Just finished building the new HTPC based on Zotac H55ITX-A-E and i3 530.
Everything went well until I needed to resume the system from suspended state. The case I am using is Chenbro es34169. It has 4 hot swappable 3.5 bays.

The two problems:
      1. The hard drives mounted in the hot-swap bays are not recognized anymore, until system restart
      2. The IR sensor (HP MCE Remote) is not working anymore until unplug/plug back. It doesn’t even blink to show me that it receives commands from the remote.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Those kinds of issues are usually BIOS related.  Are you running the latest for that board?

Probably not since there is a known issue with the Zotac BIOS update. It bricks the board.

Not sure what to tell you then.  FWIW, they do list fixes to standby issues in the BIOS revs.
