Oppo?

Hi folks, thanks to those who host this forum and site–looking forward to lots of reading here.

Here’s my current situation/dilemma:

I’ve got a Panasonic TH42PHD8Uk with an RP56 dvd player, we are wanting to upgrade so we can play divx discs, my wife has a Brit show she likes to watch (Torchwood), a nice relation has
been providing these to her–after reading the review here I’m leaning towards the Oppo 981HD.  This means I will be buying an add-on card for the monitor, currently running component to it. We’ve been very pleased with the RP56, even though it’s kinda old, it has a great picture.  I’ll be using a Yamaha 5940 HTR for audio
Any other suggestions or issues I should be concerned about? 
Media PC is in the plans a bit later  😉
