I think that it would be a good idea to have one place where I (and eventually others) can answer questions about OrigenAE chassis.
Instead of answering individually questions by e-mail – I will answer all questions here.

OrigenAE offers new chassis S8.

I think it looks great. Only niggle is the blue USB port on the front. Would be nice if it wasn’t so blue or maybe behind a door of some type.

uATX PSU usually means SFX or Flex ATX.

Nice, clean and fairly simple.  I prefer HTPC cases that look like CE equipment.  I would hide the USB port behind a door.  Seeing that is a dead give away that it is a computer case.  Hiding it makes visitors to your house say “Computer??  I don’t see any computer?  Where’s the computer??”  With the large clean face an upgrade model could have a VFD, LCD or OLED display, though I’ve never been able to get one to work to my satisfaction w/ any of my HTPCs.

I don’t have it in my hand yet, but I assume that it is just “OrigenAE quality” – the best.

According to Origen – Yes.   I should receive it shortly, so I will test it.
