tried searching high and low, and can’t really seem to find a good answer to my problem. I’ll try to be as succinct as possible.
PII 450 box w/8GB HD that runs the FreeNAS pgm, and a 300GB drive that is mounted, ready to roll.
To test, I dragged and dropped a movie from the HTPC drive to the FreeNAS 300GB drive. I can see the movie on the FreeNAS drive via the network, but when I try to play it via BeyondMedia, WMP, or WinDVD on the HTPC, I always get an error message that the file cannot be found.
The movies are in MPEG2 format, if it matters.
Help me :'(
