I’ve been itching to get my parents an HD Tivo as a gift for a while– it would be perfect for them. However, Verizon should soon be offering television service in their area and there’s a good chance that my parents will drop comcast at that time. I seem to recall coming across a site or two a few months back with people reporting issues with TIVO and verizon– does anyone know more about this? There’s really no point in getting them this if it becomes a paperweight or a slug when they make the switch.
