      After stumbling across [url=http://]this discussion[/url] at mythtvtalk.com it appears that Hauppauge is running low on PVR150s (apparently they’re being discontinued(?)) and so they’re just putting HVR1600s in their place.  This is fine for most, but the encoder uses a different chip which is not yet supported under linux ( 🙁 ) so it’s making some people unhappy.  So I’m just putting word out that you may want to verify your hardware before you leave the store.
