I received my new Zalman HD160 case and have started putting all my parts in it.  I’m almost finished but I have one question concerning the front panel HD Audio connector and AC 97 connector from the case.  On my motherboard, I have a place that is labeled for HD Audio, but I don’t use the onboard sound.  I use a Chaintech AV-710 (for the optical output), and it too has pins for “Front Panel Audio” (that’s how it’s labeled).  Do I plug the HD Audio connector to the input on the sound card, or do I plug the AC 97 connector to the sound card?  Both are the same size.
