Hello everyone,
I haven’t even started building my home theater. In fact I am not even living in the house I want to put it in yet. So needless to say I am at the very beginning.
I have a pc that has windows media center on it and to get digital cable I have to use the cable box. It’s no big deal because my pc came with everything needed to integrate my box into the pc set up. I can see problems down the road however. When I go to build my Media server it seems I will have to have a cable box for every feed going into the server right? How can all of there controls be organized. Better yet is there a program that will decode the Digital cable signal our right without the boxes?
