I have a huge collection of DVDs that I have ripped to large MPGs so they can be played on the XBOX 360. I was wondering if I put them back on DVD if they would play. I thought I read somewhere that the DVD structure required mpegs to be split into a max size of a gig something. Isn’t that why a dvd will have 3 or 4 1 gig files and then a small one.
Will the OPPO players upscale all content to the resolution you tell it to output or is there something in a DVD stream that the OPPO player picks up and knows what to output the video at.
