I’ll file this one under “wait and see”. I have nothing but respect for Silicon Dust for the way they single handedly tamed the ClearQAM frontier back when no one else would touch it, but I have my doubts that they can do the same with Cable Card. Cable Labs impressive dedication to making sure that their product is as abusive as possible to the consumer is quite the obstacle to overcome.
