      5.Self-Install: Unsure – Cablecard installed a few months back, self install not allowed then, but I’ve heard it is now allowed, but not verified (haven’t needed a second cable card yet)

          2)  Sturgis, MI
          3)  All SD basic ,expanded basic, digital view, digital view plus, and sports view are copy free.  All HD including movie channels are copy free.  All SD movie channels are copy once.
          4)  Yes, Moto MTR-700
          5)  Yes, and they will ship a card for free.  Do not know if they will ship TA free.

                    Updating my area, HD premium channels are now copy-once.

                            Another question would be how does your provider deal with CableCards? I was shocked to find that Comcrap gives me a “free” M-card but requires a $8.00 “Digital Cable Outlet” fee. Stupid thing is that this is regional within Comcrap. Reading around some people have had success saying that they are using the card in a Tv that has a cable box to get picture in picture so it is on the same “outlet” to get the fee waived.
