    Hey all!

Thanks to many of you, I am enjoying a very successful new HTPC build, and everything was fine and dandy until I tried to play a Blue Ray disc.  I’ve got the Intel DG45ID motherboard, and I’m running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit.  I bought the LG blue ray read/write drive.

PowerDVD works fine for normal DVDs, but when I try to play a Blue Ray disc (Wall-E, as it happens), at first it doesn’t do much of anything.  I can right-click and go to the top menu, and then I can hear sounds, but the video looks like static.

I verified that PAVP is set to Lite mode, which is the only tip that Intel’s website offers.

    Any ideas?  Thanks!

(I’m probably going to try WinDVD9 and ArcSoft TotalMedia Theater in the meantime.  I’ll post here with the results)

    –Rafi
