1st Client HTPC (working blog: updated 02/22/10)

I’m about to start buying some parts and I’m trying to figure out what are some of your opinions on effective cases for HTPCs?  I was looking at the Zalman HD160XT, but I’m thinking I can save a couple hundred bucks by letting go of the touchscreen.  Plus, that one would be only 30% full with the minimal hardware I intend to use!   ::)

I’m really interested in silver and some sort of basic VFD, plus some media card ports would be nice (but not required).  This case is strictly for a client PC.  Standard size motherboard (ATX), single disk drive, possibly a video and/or sound card (but maybe onboard).  Cool and quiet is the key and there will be no gaming with this one.
