      This last week I’ve noticed problems with recorded tv movies and movies not loading their cover art. All seem to load the meta data for description, etc. but the cover art will sometimes load, sometimes the film strip placeholder, and sometimes blank (no chance it’ll load). I’ve confirmed this on all my machines here ( 4 ) and extenders ( 8 ) as well as service calls on friend’s machines in different locations with different ISP.

       

      I don’t know if this is part of the promised “fix” for cover art on movies made past 2009 or if something else is going off the tracks like the guide update.

          There’s a thread on windows experts with many of the same people. All with the problem, all with MS “working” on it, no one with success.

          It just seems to continue, very hit or miss, titles with cover art on the computer don’t have cover art on an extender and so forth. All seem to get metadata for cast, synopsis, etc but cover art is another thing.
