Ok, so if you’ve been keeping posted, you know that my #1 Complaint/Restraint on upgrading to Media Center VISTA, is the lack of Concurrent sessions. I only have 1 computer now, and it’s in my bedroom so I like to be able to remote into one user (through my work laptop) and be able to manage my torre…errr…downloads 😛 & Instant messenger (not allowed on work PC), etc., and then watch media Center on my other user which is on the TV.
Now, my setup has dual monitors, a 20″ LCD main & then use the TV out as the secondary monitor.
Can VNC (or any other software for that matter) allow me to connect to the computer on JUST 1 of the monitors? Reason i ask, is that if you’ve ever tried VNC-ing into a system with MCE playing, it’s painfully slow/choppy.
Any ideas? I really do want to upgrade, and eventually i have to just to be able to support users, but I don’t want to have to lose functionality.
