I am using Win7’s mediacenter and find it quite annoying that its volume control goes all the way to 50. If I want to increase/decrease volume, I have to push my remote 10-15 times to get a noticeable effect. Is it possible to manipulate Win7 / WMC in any way (e.g. through the registry) so that one push on the remote’s volume control changes Windows’ volume control by say 10 notches or so?
