Like many of you, I’ve got Windows 7 on pre-order and am anxiously awaiting it’s arrival. I’m currently using BeyondTV in Win XP Pro as my PVR app and will probably be switching over to Media Center with Win 7. I know that there was a registry hack to overcome the 2-tuner limitation in Vista so I’m wondering if there is a similar mod that can be performed in Win 7 to permit the use of more than four tuners. I’m currently using six ATSC tuners with BeyondTV. I will probably bump that up when the 4-tuner Ceton CableCARD tuner is released. I want to know if it’s possible to use all of the tuners with Win 7 or do I have to split them up between BTV and MC.
